Manufacturers have much to gain by producing efficient windows. With efficient windows, homes will more easily meet energy code requirements, achieve EPA Energy Star homes recognition, or meet utility incentive or co-marketing requirements. In many cases, using efficient windows will allow you to also increase the amount of glazed area within a home - and marketing studies have shown that larger glazed areas appeal to prospective buyers.
